A laptop that reaches class every week, a modern browser, the free VS Code editor, and a free GitHub account. The textbook is free and provided. Reliable internet matters; arrange campus WiFi clearance or a hotspot early.

Ask to be shown, not told: a two-minute demo of this week's build teaches twice. The weekly Side Quests are designed to be done together, no experience needed.

Fall static-site project (Week 14-15), written midterm before winter break (Week 16), a semester of JavaScript, then the Battleship capstone and showcase (Weeks 30-34).
