Divs draw the regions
- A div is a generic box: it means nothing until you name it
- Header, main, sidebar, footer: pages think in regions
- Tint your divs with backgrounds while building so you can see the skeleton
The wrapper pattern
- One outer container, width capped, margin auto: centered content, forever
- It's the oldest layout trick that still ships on modern sites
- Name boxes for what they contain, not how they look; .sidebar outlives .blue-box
